What is Zeph?
Zeph sends text, links, files, and your clipboard between your own devices: iPhone, Android, the Chrome extension, and the web app. Push from one device, and it shows up on the others in real time.
Is Zeph free?
Yes. Free includes 100 pushes a day, 3 devices, 25 MB files, and 3 API keys. Pro ($6.99 a month) adds unlimited pushes and devices, 1 GB files, and end-to-end encryption.
Does clipboard sync run in the background?
No. iOS and Android do not let apps read the clipboard in the background, so your phone syncs when you open Zeph. The web app and the Chrome extension sync when their window has focus.
Are my pushes encrypted?
Every push travels over HTTPS. End-to-end encryption is a Pro option and off by default; once you switch it on, push contents are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded.
How large a file can I send?
Up to 25 MB on Free and 1 GB on Pro. Files upload straight to storage rather than through our servers.
Can I send a push from a script?
Yes. Create an API key in the web app settings, then send a push with one HTTPS request.
